1904. Louis Cartier fulfilled the wish of the celebrated Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont: to be able to tell the time in flight. Thus was born one of the first wristwatches, sealing the friendship between two pioneers. Its rounded dial, harmoniously profiled lugs, and exposed screws define an iconic timepiece that would be the subject of countless reinterpretations.

Sapphire crystal. Blue alligator leather strap. 18k yellow gold buckle. Case dimensions: 43.5 mm x 31.4 mm. Thickness: 7.3 mm. Water resistant to 3 bar (approximately 30 meters).
