After debuting on the Fall/Winter 2019 runway, Nike and Sacai have teamed up once again to release the Sacai Nike Blazer Mid Black Grey. Chitose Abe founded Sacai in 1999 after working on design teams at Comme Des Garçons and Junya Watanabe The label is known for its high technical ability to bring separate elements together to create something new. These two companies have a history of collaborating on footwear and apparel. This is the second installation of their modified Blazer design.

This Blazer Mid stays true to Sacai's design principles while utilizing Nike's materials and model. The mudguard, tongue, laces, heel, and classic Swoosh are duplicated and juxtaposed in a way that leaves the each layer uncovered. This collaboration uses a color palette of black, wolf grey, and white. These sneakers were released in October 2019 for $140.
