The Nike Blazer Mid debuted in 1976 and is still being reinvented through collaborations. In light of many deconstructed designs appearing on popular silhouettes (shout out to Virgil Abloh and Sacai), Japanese brand, READYMADE, brought a similar twist to the Blazer to add to its legacy.

The Nike Blazer Mid READYMADE Black offers an avant-garde approach to the traditional basketball sneaker. For starters, the upper is constructed from a mix of pre-owned camouflage and foam materials for a more environmentally friendly sneaker. Keeping with the sustainable theme, the outsole is constructed from 15% Nike Grind rubber, a collection of worn-in sneaker remnants and rubber scraps repurposed to create new products. READYMADE’s latest creation is set to reduce the wearer’s carbon footprint while also introducing new territory for the storied Blazer model.
