Utilizing the red, burgundy, and teal hues that his artwork often features, Parra’s first Air Max design became a hit thanks to its unique colorway and Parra’s self-taught illustration skill that can be seen on the insoles. The Amsterdam crest on the heel of this Parra x Air Max 1 practically defined its moniker from the get-go. Rumored to exist in between 200-300 pairs, including a small number that hit Nike stores and sold for as little as $30, the Parra Air Max 1 has become one of the most collectible sneakers ever created despite reports that it was only made up to a size 11.5.
