Just days after showing off photos on social media, KAWS is collaborating with Japanese TV series Hirake! Ponkikki on their Winter 2021 vinyl figures. The name of the KACHAMUKKU figure came about by combining the names of Hirake! Ponkikki characters Gachapin and Mukku. The figure was split in half with Gachapin on the left side and Mukku on the right, while KAWS put in his signature motif, bone-shaped ears and X-marked eyes.
The green/red KAWS KACHAMUKKU figure was released on October 9, 2021 in Japan and sold for $320. The figure was later released on KAWSONE on April 5, 2022.
