Balenciaga Track 2 Black was released to update the OG silhouette and does so by incorporating 176 panels on the upper in a black colorway.
The upper of the Balenciaga Track 2 features a textile base and mesh overlay, all covered by multiple layers of leather that extend to cover the mudguard. On the quarters, the multi-layered design continues, with interlocking leather strands leaving a translucent patch near the collar. Immediately before the lateral heel is white “BALENCIAGA” writing that contrasts the predominantly black colorway. Further branding is seen on the “track 2” motif on the tongue and the embossed BALENCIAGA badge on the heel.
