The ASICS Gel-1130 White Shark Skin is a stability running shoe with design details that mimic the pattern of shark skin.
Taking inspiration from the Gel-KAYANO 14 and other shoes in the Gel-1000 catalog, the Gel-1130 White Shark Skin features a breathable mesh upper. Unlike previous versions, this model features synthetic leather instead of genuine leather on the overlays. When light hits the synthetic overlays, it produces a silver sheen reminiscent of sharkskin. The silver touches also add to the shoe’s open ocean aesthetic. Other notable elements include the gel technology in the heel, which provides responsive cushioning and protects against impacts on hard materials like pavement. The shoe also houses ASICS’ signature Trusstic support system, which enhances stability and can be found in many running shoes from the 2000s.
