The ASICS Gel-1130 White Black is a high-performance running shoe with a design rooted in the technical running shoes of the early 2000s.
The “White Black” version of the ASICS Gel-1130 takes inspiration from the GEL-KAYANO 14 and the ninth version of the GEL-1000 series. Although the model was first introduced in 2008, this version features an all-white base with black and silver detailing. The upper is made of lightweight mesh with a loose weave that gives the shoe an airy feel. Synthetic leather overlays crisscross the mesh base and contribute to the shoe’s technical silhouette. In terms of technology, gel cushioning in the heel reduces impact without weighing down the shoe. ASICS’ signature TRUSSTIC support system also enhances stability and is a throwback to the early 2000s.
