A Ma Maniére Announces The “While You Were Sleeping” Collection

Today, A Ma Maniere officially unveils its six-sneaker collection in collaboration with Nike, Inc., featuring projects from all three brands under the umbrella. It is the largest collection of its kind since Virgil Abloh’s “The 10” collection in 2016.

Nike, Jordan Brand, and Converse are represented in the “While You Were Sleeping” collection; the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 39, Nike Air Force 1 Low, Nike Air Max 95, and Converse Weapon Low are the six members of this grand capsule that will begin releasing on August 20, 2024. This collection was established to celebrate the 10th anniversary of A Ma Maniere.

The collection kicks off with the Air Jordan 3, with raffles currently open on the A Ma Maniere websitehere via EQL. The sneakers will also be available in the A Ma Maniere store. Here’s a quick rundown of all six models.

A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3 “While You Were Sleeping”

The “While You Were Sleeping” collection officially kicks off with this Air Jordan 3, which features black leather uppers, rough-textured suede on the toe and heel, and dark purple perforated suede on the ankle and lace-up collar. A deconstructed upper achieves a sleeker overall profile, while the sleek quilted lining adds that touch of class. A release date of August 20, 2024 has been confirmed at A Ma Maniere’s in-store and online.

A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 “While You Were Sleeping”

Next up is the Air Jordan 4 “While You Were Sleeping”; featuring similar design properties to the Air Jordan 3, the AJ4 features a deconstructed upper for a slimmer profile. The exterior is covered in a monochromatic light purple, with cream laces and midsoles for contrast. The same dark purple lining appears on the interior. Alternating branding on the tongue features the Jumpman logo and the A for A Ma Maniere, while the iconic Nike Air sits on the heel.

A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 39 “While You Were Sleeping”

The first Air Jordan 39 collaboration falls under A Ma Maniere’s “While You Were Sleeping” collection, which retains its signature color palette of violet, purple, and black. The upper features a unique pattern in a two-tone contrast, while a translucent gum-like rubber sits underneath. A Ma Maniere’s logo appears on the midsole.

A Ma Maniere x Nike Air Max 95 “While You Were Sleeping”

Over on Nike’s part is the A Ma Maniere x Nike Air Max 95, which once again champions the retailer’s signature color palette. Taking advantage of the “gradient” arrangement offered by the Air Max 95, this silhouette features exposed stitching across the upper, leather inserts on the mudguard and lace harness, and thin rope laces for a luxurious aesthetic.

A Ma Maniere x Nike Air Force 1 Low “While You Were Sleeping”

A Ma Maniere returns to the Air Force 1 Low for their “While You Were Sleeping” collection, adding their signature “A” pattern textured lining to the interior. Like their previous Hand Wash Cold project, the Swoosh is coated in grey, while modified perforations on the toe box add new character to the model. Finally, they replace the iconic “AIR” on the midsole with A MA MANIERE.

A Ma Maniere x Converse Weapon Low “While You Were Sleeping”

Converse continues its collaborative journey with Converse Weapon with the low-top model in partnership with A Ma Maniere. The same padded interior appears, but with contrast stitching, while the exterior combines light bone, khaki, and a soft pink on the tongue and laces. The A Ma Maniere logo is embossed on the “Y” of the ankle.
